Wolseley Kombucha is seeking a versatile and dynamic individual to join our team as Taproom Boochtender, Grocery Store Demo/Events and Social Media Marketing Role.

In this role, you will have an opportunity to wear multiple hats and contribute to various aspects of our business, including customer service, product promotion, events & markets and social media marketing.

Role is 24+ hours with an opportunity to for more hours as we move into summer.Saturday 9:45am to 4:15pm is a must for 3 + Saturdays a month.

$17/hour starting.

Responsibilities

Taproom Boochtender:
-Provide exceptional customer service to taproom visitors, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience.

-Provide answers to customer inquiries about our selection of kombucha beverages

-Maintain cleanliness and organization of the taproom, kegs dishes.
-Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
-Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the taproom.

Grocery Store Demo:
-Set up product demo station in grocery stores such as Safeway, Sobeys, Vita Health or Red River Coop.
-Engage with customers, educate them about our products, and answer any questions they may have.
-Provide samples of our products and encourage customers to make a purchase.
-Maintain a clean and organized demo area.
-Collaborate with store staff to ensure smooth execution of product demonstrations.

Social Media Marketing:

- Create and curate engaging content for Instgram and email marketing with Michelle the owner of Wolseley Kombucha.

Requirements:

-Driver's License and reliable vehicle

-Ability to maneuver 55lbs kegs unassisted.

-Must be available most Saturdays 9:45am-4:15pm.

-Comfortable working alone.
- Previous experience in customer sales, and social media marketing preferred.
- Strong customer service, communication skills and a true enthusiasm for engaging with the public.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for cash handling.
- Knowledge or keen interest in kombucha and fermentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and ability to generate engaging content ideas.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

We would be thrilled if you have:

-Food Handlers Certification

-Smart Choices Certification

-Experience with HACCP/ GMPs

-Experience in a brewery, taproom, kitchen or production facility

-Experience working independently

-Experience as a keyholder

-Experience with Square, Squarespace and social media platforms.
